We’ve been sourcing the best healthy foods, supplements and skincare from all over the globe since 1904 and in 2024 we are proud (and relieved) to be celebrating 120 years as a health store! We’re almost certainly/probably the oldest health food store in the world and one of Edinburgh's oldest independent businesses.
Small we may be but all of our staff’s advice and knowledge is big. Because we’re independent, knowledgeable and innovative we’re not in the business of just selling, we are about building long-term trusting relationships with our public.
We’re in the business of providing the best advice and showcasing the best products from vitamins, essential oils, skincare, and other intriguing and healthy specialities.
LOYALTREE CARD
In 2019 we came up with our special LoyalTree Card which gives you the choice of either saving £5 when the card is full or planting a native species tree in the Highlands with our chosen charity, Trees For Life.
Our customers normally plant trees at the rate of about 40 a month which is quite inspiring. Every tree is 'The Right Tree In The Right Place' unlike other tree-planting schemes.

FREE delivery over £49!
We use Royal Mail and UPS. It's a weight thing - packages less than 3.5kg will be posted by Royal Mail, 3.5-10kg go by UPS.
Shipping charge for less than £49 is only £4.50.
Chilled items can only be selected for Collect In Store.
