Wormwood Tea is 100% Pure Wormwood Leaf and upper plant stalk. This mysterious herb has a reputation heavily connected to artists and French Bohemia of the 19th Century. Before this, Wormwood fascinated the Greeks and was used extensively in European Herbalism. Wormwood Tea is extremely bitter and is not thought of as a tea to be sipped as a comforter. Suggested Use
Grab a teapot, a cafetiere or your tea making equipment of choice. The botanical ingredients can be made into an herbal tea by infusing the herb in boiling water. Use 1 cup of boiling water per person. Let the tea brew for 5 - 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
Serving:
Take ½ - 1 teaspoons of the herb per cup of boiling hot water. Do not exceed 1 cup of Wormwood tea per day.

Contraindications:
Since wormwood contains thujone, a chemical similar to tetratetrahydrocannibinol (THC) which is found in cannabis, the FDA has placed wormwood in the unsafe category. It has been reported that thujone may cause nerve damage and other side effects. Do not take if you are pregnant. Take only in small doses and for no more than 4-5 weeks at a stretch. Consult with a healthcare professional or doctor of herbal medicine.
