Bold Bean Co £4.30
Queen Butter Beans
570gIntroducing Bold Bean Co’s Queen Butter Beans - a delicious and unique butter bean packed with flavour. These creamy and juicy beans have earned the title of the “creme de la creme" of the bean world. Perfect for vegans, cooking enthusiasts, and the health-conscious.
One of the best things about Bold Bean Co’s Queen Butter Beans is their convenience. They come in a glass jar, ready to be used in any recipe. They are perfect for busy weeknight meals, meal prepping or simply eaten straight from the jar. Mash them up, stew them up, crunch them up - they're packed full of natural protein so great for vegetarians and meat reducers. The Bold Bean Team love these in a puttanesca sauce or slathered in fresh basil pesto.
WHAT MAKES THEM A QUEEN?
These are a subspecies of phaseolus coccineus (The same family of beans as the Greek Gigante and the Spanish Judion de la Granja). They have thinner skin and are far creamier than the phaseolus lunatus (conventional butter bean) which you'll find in most tinned butter beans.
Each bean variety is suited to different growing conditions so they are sourced from the best possible climate. Bold Bean Co’s Queen Butter Beans are then cooked low and slow to preserve flavour and texture - hence why they’re so creamy and full-flavoured.
Ingredients:
Butter Beans in their Bean Stock (Water and Salt)
