Our LoyalTree Card

Hanover Healthfoods offers a quite unusual loyalty card, or LoyalTree Card. Each completed card offers you a choice, either save £5 or plant a tree in the Scottish Highlands.

Earn 1 stamp for every £10 spent. 12 stamps complete the card.

Our trees are planted with Scotland’s largest rewilding charity, Trees for Life. Your tree will be planted on land recovered from over-grazing by deer or sheep and will be a native species tree grown from seeds by Trees for Life. The placing of each type of tree is thoughtfully planted so it is very much ‘the right tree in the right place’.

Rewilding has very many benefits which go beyond locking in carbon for the lifetime of the tree. Rewilding Scotland’s forests increases biodiversity across the board, from the tiniest beastie to supporting habitats capable of sustaining birds of prey. Other benefits include reducing flooding further down the glens and, ultimately, providing more local jobs with the larger numbers of visitors that areas of high biodiversity support.
